As it will be the end of summer so soon, we thought we would host an end of Summer Potluck to celebrate all our organization has done and all YOU have done, whether for participating in Summer Reading, coming to our events, etc.
This party will be a potluck, so we ask if you plan on bringing anything baked/cooked by yourself to be thoughtful of allergens by writing every (and we mean every, including seasonings, oils, flours, sauces, etc.) ingredient included in the recipe on a notecard to be placed alongside your food.
This event will be held outside the PS1 Close House on September 10th from 1-5pm. We’ll be handing out Summer Reading prizes for those who participated in Summer Reading and those who didn’t! So come get a prize!
We’ll provide tables and chairs, but if you want to picnic with some blankets feel free to bring some! There will also be games, like cornhole available thanks to the Iowa Children’s Museum. This event is for ALL ages, so please come and celebrate with us, and get to know others in the community 🙂
