Founder and Director

Aiden is the founder of the LGBTQ Iowa Archives & Library. Professionally, he is the Curator of the Tretter Collection in GLBT Studies at the University of Minnesota Libraries. Aiden holds Master’s degrees in both Library and Information Sciences and Critical Ethnic Studies. He is completing an Interdisciplinary Ph.D. in Public History and Archival Science at the University of Iowa. His community work prioritizes creating generative spaces for LGBTQ people to learn, share, and research our history.

Ann is a theatre director and writer specializing in lesbian and queer history-telling and mythmaking through performance. She is an MFA Candidate at the University of Iowa. Her portfolio is available at annkreitman.com.
