Queer Threads Alpaca Adventure

Join us Saturday, October 21st for a Queer Threads Alpaca Adventure! We will be visiting the wonderful Rainbow Feathers Farm to meet their alpacas and learn more about the process of turning alpaca wool into fiber for artistic practices.
We plan on departing from the Close House at 11:30am and leaving the farm around 1:30 to return to Iowa City. We are offering the option to carpool, so please reach out by messaging the LIAL Instagram account or emailing TJ at tamarajo.schaapherder@gmail.com if you need a ride or would like to offer to drive a group!
If you live outside Iowa City and would prefer to meet us at the farm instead, feel free to plan on getting there around noon and join the group! There is no entrance fee to visit the farm, but bring some money if you want to purchase some gorgeous alpaca yarn from the farm store.
